Taste Republic Gluten Free Pasta Review

Taste Republic Gluten Free Pasta Four Cheese Tortelloni and Linguini

Taste Republic sent me coupons for 2 free pastas to try and give my honest review. This was thru Tryazon’s TryaBox program. I choose Four Cheese Tortelloni and Linguini. I found the fresh pastas in the fresh fridge section of the pasta aisle at my local Harmons Neighborhood Grocer.

This pasta was extremely easy and quick to make. Our whole family tried both pastas and we were all in agreement with our review.

PROS:

  • The Tortelloni took 4-5 minutes to cook and the Fettuccine only 2-3 minutes.
  • Because it was fresh pasta, you did not need to add salt when you cook it.
  • Gluten-free and fresh.
  • Cheaper than other fresh pastas at my grocery store.
  • Could not tell it was gluten-free.

CONS:

  • I cooked the Fettuccine for almost 4 minutes and it still could have been cooked longer.
  • I cooked the Tortelloni for 5 minutes and they pretty much broke apart and the cheese leaked out and stuck to the bottom of my pot.
  • Fresh pasta is more expensive than dried pasta.
  • Even though you don’t need to add salt, the Tortelloni really could have used it.

I loved having the opportunity to try Taste Republic’s Gluten-Free Pasta. If I were to buy fresh pasta again, I would definitely consider buying this, especially the fettuccine.
